We serve acute female trauma survivors and victims of human trafficking. The Vision Center offers a pathway to financial independence where participants learn while they earn. We are committed to regenerate survivors to their full potential and purpose in this life.
After doing research on human sex trafficking and seeing the State and Country report cards issued by Shared Hope International, the Vision Center team concluded that there are laws in place that many workplaces do not seem to follow, which causes more and more victims of human sex trafficking. Most of the time victims go through rehabilitation and still cannot move forward from such traumatizing experiences. The Vision Center is not rehabilitation, it is moving forward. These victims need that extra “hand-up” to help them move forward and live a happy and healthy life, which is exactly what the Vision Center is designed to do.
There is a significant demand for a vocational training and wellness center like the Vision Center. There are far too
many victims of human sex trafficking who need the Vision Center’s education and training in the next step of their recovery. These victim’s do not know what it is like to work in a healthy
workplace where they do not feel threatened or abused. They have suffered such abuse in their previous work environment that they have little to no experience working in a
healthy environment.
The Vision Center is here to provide safety for them, permanently
if needed, and teach them the necessary skills to work and gain self-worth, confidence and financial independence.
